About Me
Hey, I’m Make Human Healthy Author Dr Arshi Thakur.
Born and raised in India, I’ve always been drawn to the human side of science — the part where knowledge meets compassion. That calling led me to earn my MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi, one of the country’s most prestigious medical institutions.
Â
After graduating, I entered the dynamic world of clinical practice.
Today, with over 8 years of experience, I work at IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, Kolkata — one of West Bengal’s leading healthcare centers — where I assist patients daily and continue learning from every case, every conversation, every shift. My commitment to learning ensures that I stay updated with the latest advancements in medicine, providing you with the best possible care.
Â
Along the way, I realised something: healing goes beyond hospital walls.
That’s why I started writing — to share practical, real-world health insights rooted in experience, not just theory. Whether that means teaching you how to read the results of your blood tests or assisting you in forming healthier habits like eating more plant-based foods, my goal is to make medical information clear, accessible, and helpful.
Â
Because if there is one thing I firmly believe, it is that everyone’s health is unique. And it should be understood as well.
